This workbook should not be used to remediate or cure any voice disorder as it is intended for individuals with a healthy voice wishing to modify or create a voice difference.
Research based techniques are used throughout this workbook and are referenced in the back of this workbook (i.e., resonant voice exercises, semi-occluded vocal tract exercises, etc). PRYDE Voice and Speech Therapy does not claim to own or have created these widely used techniques.
If excessive hoarseness, extreme muscle tension/fatigue, or any pain is felt during the use of this program, it is highly recommended that the program be discontinued until receiving clearance from a doctor and consulting with a licensed speech-language pathologist.
